Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Presentation

On Thursday, September 28, 2023, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association presented the Frontera Tour at Ocean View Church to the San Diego Southern Baptist pastors.

More than 60 pastors and chaplains enjoyed the briefings, fellowship, and, most of all, prayer time.  The speaker was Steve Rhoads, who presently serves as Vice President for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), overseeing Church Ministry for the organization, which includes Franklin Graham’s God Loves You Tour.

"God Loves You Frontera Tour" on March 9, 2024, in Chula Vista, is going to be a spiritual awakening in the South Bay, SoCal, and beyond!

The God Loves You Frontera Tour is an evangelistic initiative to reach local communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This month-long campaign to encourage and equip the Church in prayer and evangelism culminates in a one-night event featuring music and a presentation of the Gospel by Franklin Graham.

There are three main priorities of The God Loves You Frontera Tour

1. Individual and corporate prayer: Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Matt 21:13), and we intend to bring additional resources to the local pastor to encourage the church to pray.
2. Personal Witnessing:  “You will receive power… and you will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8), and we intend to train the people how to ‘simply share Jesus’. 
3. Meaningful discipleship: “Anyone not willing to pick up my cross – my disciple” (Luke 14), and we intend to assist the church by offering and training easy-to-use guides for follow-up and discipleship for new believers.
