Dale Huntington pastors City Life Church, a multiethnic church in southeast San Diego. City Life is committed to honoring Jesus as Lord, but also seeking justice for those who are marginalized. Dale grew up in a Baha’i family in southern California. He was saved at 16 through friends from College Avenue Baptist church and Horizon church.
He sang in several punk bands including “Loose End.” For about 15 years Dale led worship for various churches and also toured and recorded worship music with his band “shine like stars.” In 2011, Dale helped to plant City Life Church in Wichita, Kansas. In 2015 he helped plant City Life Church in San Diego, CA as the lead pastor. He has his degree in Biblical studies from Southern California Seminary. He has been married to Ashley since 2004 and has two beautiful children.
