The web site VisualCapitalist.com had an article entitled “The Most Heavily Surveilled Cities in the World” (outside of China). In response to growth in megacities in density, governments, businesses, and households have installed countless security cameras for various purposes including crime protection. The article listed 4 cities in India with the most cameras per 100,000 people. Coming in at number 1 was the city of Indore, India. With a population of 3.2 million people, Indore has some 200,600 surveillance cameras. That is 63 cameras per 100,000 people.
In comparison to similar sized Los Angeles, California, the largest surveilled U.S. city, the city of Indore has 7 times as many surveillance cameras.
In China, there is an estimated 373 cameras per 1,000 people.
No matter where you go, nothing escapes the notice of the Lord. Today in prayer, praise Jesus that His eyes are upon you and live your life in obedience to His Word.
