On Sunday, March 23, 2025, a missions team helped with an Easter egg hunt and family fun night with two churches, Mesa Church and City Life Church. The team helped run the cotton candy, popcorn, shaved ice, and bounce house while helping a church with an Easter egg hunt. For the family fun night, we helped run the bounce house, shaved ice, popcorn, and face painting for the families of the church and neighborhood.
Over 600 people attended the Easter egg hunt, and with the family fun night, we had 20-30 visitors.
It was very helpful having a missions team volunteer, as it took away stress from the host church volunteers. It also allowed members of the church to meet with new families who visited each respective event.
It was an outreach opportunity to continue to develop relationships within our church and the surrounding community. It helped us connect with and have contact information for families in the community. It will hopefully lead to church attendance, especially with Easter around the corner.
Families from the church and community were very grateful for this free event and to spend time with their families and create memories. They appreciate how much the Church pours into the community.
